Nike unveils AI-designed concept shoe for Wemby
Nike shared a preview of what Victor Wembanyama's first signature shoe could potentially look like.
The brand unveiled several A.I.R. (Athlete Imagined Revolution) footwear prototypes at an activation in Paris on Thursday, including a concept sneaker for Wembanyama. All of the shoes were designed using a combination of AI, athlete feedback, and Nike Sports Research Lab data, according to John Kim of Sneaker News.
Wembanyama's sneaker features pixelations inspired by the necklace worn by the San Antonio Spurs rookie on draft night and reflect his size 20.5 shoe.
