The Philadelphia 76ers have been fined $100K by the league for inaccurately disclosing Joel Embiid's injury availability before their matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.

Embiid was listed as "out" on Philadelphia's initial injury report but was subsequently upgraded to "questionable" and ended up playing in the game.

This is the second time Philadelphia has been punished for improperly filing an injury report. The organization was fined $75K in February after Embiid was a late scratch due to a knee injury despite not being on the injury list against the Denver Nuggets.

The Sixers eked out a 109-105 comeback victory against the Thunder. Embiid tallied 24 points, seven assists, and six rebounds in the contest.

Philadelphia is 2-0 since the reigning MVP made his return to the lineup. Embiid had missed 29 games after undergoing surgery in early February to repair his left meniscus.

The Sixers sit eighth in the Eastern Conference with a 42-35 record and are only a half-game back of the Miami Heat. Philadelphia will travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies on Saturday night.
