The Los Angeles Lakers announced that LeBron James won't play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday due to a left calf contusion.
This is James' first absence this season. He played in the team's first nine games.
The 38-year-old is averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and a block in 35 minutes per game this season.
Anthony Davis is listed as available to play. He missed one game due to an adductor injury but appeared in the Lakers' win over the Suns on Friday.
The Lakers are 4-5, good for eighth in the Western Conference.
