Bryant has two different covers of the game, the "Kobe Bryant" edition and the "Black Mamba" edition.
The 18-time All-Star was featured on the cover for both NBA 2K10 and the 2K17 Legend Edition. He was also named the final cover athlete for the 2K21 "Mamba Forever" edition in 2020 after his death in a helicopter accident earlier that year.
Bryant played 20 seasons with the Lakers, helping the franchise win five championships. Bryant ranks fourth league-wide in most career points with 33,643.
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, NBA legend Michael Jordan, and WNBA greats Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird served as cover athletes for last year's edition.
The game will be available for preorder Friday.
