Projected top-3 draft pick Brandon Miller impressed the Charlotte Hornets and outgoing majority owner Michael Jordan in his second visit with the team Monday, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

It was the first time Jordan - who will remain with the Hornets as a minority stakeholder and maintain a presence around the team - met with Miller and watched him work out in person, Wojnarowski reports.

Miller is competing with G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson for consideration for the Hornets' No. 2 selection in Thursday's NBA draft. Henderson also visited Charlotte for a second meeting and workout, Wojnarowski reports.

General manager Mitch Kupchak said Wednesday that Jordan will have the final say on who the Hornets select, according to Rod Boone of the Charlotte Observer.

The Alabama forward could hold the edge over Henderson because the Hornets believe LaMelo Ball is a franchise point guard, Wojnarowski adds. Ball averaged 23.3 points and 8.4 assists during an injury-plagued 2022-23 campaign and was named an All-Star the season prior.

At 6-foot-9, Miller would slot in as a wing player, which fills a need for Charlotte. Henderson is listed at 6-foot-2 and is expected to play point guard at the pro level.

The Portland Trail Blazers have the No. 3 pick and are projected to select whomever of the two is still on the board.

The draft begins Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
