Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis left Wednesday's Game 5 loss to the Golden State Warriors in the fourth quarter and didn't return following an elbow to the head from Warriors center Kevon Looney.

Davis exited with 7:34 remaining and needed a wheelchair to get to the locker room, per Haynes.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said postgame that Davis "seems to be doing really good already" after checking on him in the locker room, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

The Lakers big man has dominated on the defensive end throughout the playoffs. He helped L.A. take down the No. 2-seeded Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, and jump out to a 3-1 lead against the Warriors in the second round before Wednesday's loss.

Davis finished Game 5 with 23 points and nine rebounds in 32 minutes.

The Lakers will have another chance to close out the Warriors on Friday in Game 6 in L.A.
