KD: Barkley's 'a f-----g legend,' but I dislike his approach as an analyst

Kevin Durant has a much different opinion of Charles Barkley, the analyst, compared to Charles Barkley, the player.

On the latest episode of his podcast "The ETCs," Durant explained that while he has a lot of respect for what Barkley did on the court with the Phoenix Suns, he believes the "Inside the NBA" co-host is "mad opinionated" and focuses too much on the negative when discussing players.

"He's a f-----g legend that I got nothing but respect for, and when I look up, I'm gonna play with pride knowing that he put blood, sweat, and tears into this organization. That ain't got nothing to do with how he is an analyst, though," the Suns star said. "I don't agree with how he approaches the game as a Hall of Famer. His game as an analyst, I don't really f--- with your approach. That's my opinion on you, just like your opinion on us."

Barkley has been critical of Durant, most notably referring to him as a "bus rider" rather than a "bus driver" on the Golden State Warriors' championship teams.

"Why is that analogy even brought up for teams? You know what I'm saying? Like, we ain't on no f-----g bus," Durant said on his podcast. "I feel like the only reason why that even kept traction was because that was about me specifically. If that was about any other player, that shit wouldn't even have hit like that."

Durant is currently sidelined with a left ankle sprain he suffered in pre-game warmups before the Suns' March 8 matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The injury is expected to keep him out of action for at least three weeks.
