Toronto Raptors wing Otto Porter Jr. will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing foot surgery, the team announced on Tuesday.

Porter played just eight games with the Raptors. He joined the team in free agency after winning a championship with the Golden State Warriors.

The No. 3 pick in 2013 missed the first seven games of the campaign before making his team debut on Nov. 2. He averaged 5.5 points in 18.3 minutes during his short stint with the club, making two starts in the process.

Porter was brought over on a two-year, $12.3 million deal and was expected to provide depth on one of the shortest benches in the NBA.

The 29-year-old has career averages of 10.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while making nearly 40% of his 3-pointers across stints with the Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic, and Warriors.
