Houston Rockets forward KJ Martin will compete in next month's Slam Dunk contest as part of NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Martin joins Portland Trail Blazers rookie Shaedon Sharpe as the second participant in the contest.
The 22-year-old Martin has unleashed a series of highlight-reel dunks so far this season.
There are still two participants who have yet to be named for this year's contest.
Martin, the son of former NBA All-Star Kenyon Martin, is in his third campaign for the Rockets. He is averaging a career-high 10.4 points and shooting a strong 55% from the field across 39 games this season.
The NBA All-Star Weekend is from Feb. 17-19.
