Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler missed Friday's 107-106 loss to the Washington Wizards and is expected to miss the next two games with knee soreness, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

The Heat played just seven players against the Wizards, with guard Gabe Vincent listed as available to meet the minimum of eight players in uniform, even though he did not check in.

Tyler Herro, Miami's second-leading scorer this season, has missed the last six games but could rejoin the team for Sunday's contest against the Cavaliers, Winderman adds.

Butler, 33, also missed two games in early November due to hip tightness.
