Footage of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green striking teammate Jordan Poole hit the internet on Friday, two days after the altercation.

Green apologized to the team Thursday for the incident. The four-time All-Star is expected to return to training camp Saturday.

The Warriors are taking legal action to discover how the video was released to the public, sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski.

General manager Bob Myers said Thursday that he didn't expect Green to be suspended.

"Everybody's fine," Myers said. "Look, it's the NBA, professional sports; these things happen. Nobody likes it. We don't condone it, but it happened.

"Draymond apologized to the team this morning. Jordan was there in the room, I was there in (the) room with the team, the coaches, the players, and we heard that."

Green's outburst was reportedly partially influenced by his and Poole's respective contract situations. Both players are eligible for extensions, with Poole potentially hitting restricted free agency next summer if he and the Warriors can't agree to a deal by Oct. 17.

Myers said he's confident the Warriors' locker room will recover from the incident.

"It'll take some time to move through, but we'll move through it and move forward, and I'm confident that we will. We've got a good team, we've got good leadership, we've got some guys that have been here a long time."

The Warriors recently returned to the Bay Area following a pair of preseason games in Japan against the Washington Wizards.
