Report: Hornets signing Isaiah Thomas for rest of season

The Charlotte Hornets are signing guard Isaiah Thomas for the remainder of the season, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Thomas, 33, has appeared in six games with the Hornets, averaging nine points and two assists in 14 minutes per contest.
Charlotte is 7-2 since signing Thomas earlier in March, only losing to the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics during that span.
The Hornets sit ninth in the Eastern Conference at 37-35 with 10 games left in the regular season.
