A Dallas Mavericks fan was removed from Sunday's Game 4 contest against the Phoenix Suns after an incident with Chris Paul's family, the team released in a statement, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.

According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, the fan put their hands on Paul's mother and pushed his wife. The 37-year-old's kids also reportedly witnessed the situation.

Following Phoenix's 111-101 loss in which Paul scored just five points before fouling out in a career-low 23 minutes, the veteran sent out a tweet highlighting the incident.

Earlier in the playoffs, Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving was fined the maximum $50,000 for flipping off a Boston Celtics fan. Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook was also candid this season when discussing the harassment his family received from fans.
