Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is making progress in his recovery from a lower back injury, the team announced Tuesday.
Green has been out for the last 12 games due to the injury, which was originally diagnosed as a sore calf before the ailment was linked to an issue with a disk in his back.
The 31-year-old originally received a two-week recovery timetable on Jan. 16, but he will remain out of the lineup and will be re-evaluated again before the All-Star break.
Green is putting together an efficient season for the 38-13 Warriors, averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists on a career-best 53.7% shooting from the field.
