Sacramento Kings guard Terence Davis will be out indefinitely after an MRI revealed a right wrist ECU tendon injury, the team announced Wednesday.

Davis suffered the injury during the second quarter of Sacramento's loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. He exited the contest with seven points and two rebounds in 10 minutes.

The 24-year-old had been playing some of his best basketball as a fill-in starter. He scored a season-high 35 points against the Detroit Pistons on Jan. 19 and followed that up with a 22-point effort in a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Davis has averaged 10.4 points and 3.1 rebounds across 30 appearances. He's been most productive as a starter, with averages of 17.6 points and five rebounds in 11 games.

Rookie Davion Mitchell should see more playing time in Davis' absence.
