The Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers are among the teams pursuing Jerami Grant, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The Detroit Pistons are reportedly receiving calls for Grant every week and are apparently open to dealing the seventh-year forward.

Grant has also been linked to the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a potential Ben Simmons trade.

Grant, 27, is currently sidelined for at least six weeks after sustaining a UCL sprain in his right thumb in Friday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.

He joined the Pistons in November 2020 through a sign-and-trade deal with the Denver Nuggets. Since then, he's averaged 21.6 points, 4.7 boards, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 blocks. The former second-round pick was the runner-up for last season's Most Improved Player award.

Grant was part of Team USA's gold-medal squad at the Tokyo Olympics. He's set to hit free agency after the 2022-23 campaign but is eligible for a four-year extension worth up to $112 million this offseason.
