The Indiana Pacers are among multiple teams still inquiring about Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons, a source told Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Philadelphia is reportedly interested in Caris LeVert as part of a package for the three-time All-Star.

LeVert is currently sidelined with a stress fracture in his back, but the Pacers are apparently optimistic he'll be cleared to play around the start of the season.

The 27-year-old was a key piece in the multi-team James Harden trade last January. LeVert averaged a career-high 20.2 points, 5.2 assists, 4.6 boards, and 1.4 steals across 47 appearances during the 2020-21 campaign with the Pacers and Brooklyn Nets.

Simmons didn't play in the 76ers' preseason opener Monday as he continues his holdout. He registered 14.3 points, 7.2 boards, 6.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest last season and finished runner-up in the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year voting.
