Report: Blazers sign former lottery pick Smith to training camp deal

The Portland Trail Blazers signed former lottery pick Dennis Smith to a training camp deal, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Smith split the 2020-21 campaign between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons.
After a promising rookie season, Smith's production steadily declined. The 23-year-old averaged 6.7 points, 3.3 assists, 2.4 boards, and one steal over 23 appearances last season.
The Dallas Mavericks selected the former ACC Rookie of the Year ninth overall in the 2017 NBA Draft.
