Giannis Antetokounmpo started Tuesday's 118-105 Game 1 loss versus the Phoenix Suns.

The two-time MVP finished with 20 points, 17 boards, four assists, two steals, and one block in 35 minutes.

Antetokounmpo received "around-the-clock treatment" on his hyperextended left knee, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews.

Milwaukee initially listed Antetokounmpo as doubtful for the contest.

It was the 26-year-old's star first appearance since leaving Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Atlanta Hawks.

Antetokounmpo worked out at a private gym in front of coaches, front-office staff, and members of the medical staff ahead of The Finals, according to NBA TV's Jared Greenberg.
