CP3 available for Game 3 vs. Clippers

Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul is available for Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Suns announced.

Paul missed the first two games of the Western Conference finals after entering the NBA's health and safety protocols June 16. He'll return to the Suns' starting lineup Thursday, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

The floor general dominated the Denver Nuggets in Round 2, averaging 25.5 points, 10.3 assists, five rebounds, and only 1.3 turnovers in Phoenix's four-game sweep. He was also instrumental in the Suns' opening-round victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Phoenix has taken a 2-0 series lead over the Clippers in Paul's absence, moving within two games of the franchise's first NBA Finals appearance since 1993.
