After sitting out 20 of the past 21 games, star Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden is available to play Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs.

Harden will come off the bench and play on a minutes restriction in his first game back.

Save for a quickly aborted appearance on April 5 in which he played just 4:22, Harden has been sidelined since March 31 due to a lingering hamstring strain.

After being acquired from the Houston Rockets in January, the 32-year-old former MVP has averaged 25.4 points, 11 assists, and 8.7 rebounds per game with Brooklyn. The team has gone 27-7 (.794) in Harden's 34 appearances - but just 11-9 during the 20 games he's missed recently.

Owing to various injuries and absences, the Nets have had only had seven games in which every member of their core trio of Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving has been active at the same time.
