Count Kevin Love among those who would like to see the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets meet in the NBA Finals.

Love was asked about his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates LeBron James and Kyrie Irving potentially squaring off in the Finals during an interview with USA Today's "Sports Seriously." Love admitted it would be "odd" to see James and Irving - whom he won an NBA championship with in 2016 - compete against each other, but he would enjoy the matchup.

"It'd definitely be interesting to see," Love said. "But I'll tell you what: Get your popcorn ready because that would be one for the ages there. If everybody's healthy on both sides, that would be a really amazing Finals with some guys that are first-ballot Hall of Famers. Many first-ballot Hall of Famers.

"It'd be a little odd, obviously, to see my former counterparts and guys that I played with and love, respectively, to go against each other on opposite teams in the Eastern and Western Conference. But again, I think we'd all enjoy seeing that in a big way because it would just be beautiful basketball."

James' Lakers currently sit fifth in the Western Conference, while Irving's Nets are one game back of the Philadelphia 76ers for the top spot in the East.
