Isaiah Thomas' latest comeback bid appears to be over for now.

The New Orleans Pelicans have no plans on signing the veteran guard to a second deal after his initial 10-day contract expired, a source told ESPN's Andrew Lopez.

However, the team reportedly isn't ruling out a potential reunion in the future.

New Orleans has two weeks before it must add another player, but the club could wait the entire 14-day period to fill that roster spot due to salary-cap purposes.

Thomas averaged 7.7 points and 1.7 assists over three appearances with the Pelicans. The two-time All-Star has played only 87 games since 2016-17 due to hip issues.
