The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to bring Kyle Lowry home.

Philadelphia plans on pursuing the Toronto Raptors guard this offseason via sign-and-trade, sources told The Athletic's Sam Amick.

The 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat were among the teams linked to Lowry at the trade deadline. However, Miami is the only club out of the three with the cap space to sign the six-time All-Star outright.

Lowry is an unrestricted free agent this summer. He's spent the past nine seasons in Toronto, averaging 17.5 points, 7.1 assists, 4.9 boards, and 1.5 steals over 599 appearances.

The 35-year-old earned All-NBA third-team honors in 2015-16 and was a key cog in the Raptors' championship run three years later. Lowry is Toronto's all-time leader in numerous categories, including three-point field goals, assists, and triple-doubles.

The Villanova product continues to perform at a high level during the late stages of his career. Lowry is averaging 16.7 points, shooting 38.3% from deep, and ranks ninth in the Association in assists (7.3 per game) over 44 appearances in 2020-21.
