Orlando Magic guard Evan Fournier is available for Wednesday's matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing the previous nine games due to back spasms, the Magic announced hours before tipoff.

Fournier's return provides a much-needed boost to Orlando's backcourt. Staring point guard Markelle Fultz is out for the season after tearing his ACL, while backup Michael Carter-Williams has missed the Magic's last seven contests.

Fournier, 28, is averaging 14.8 points on 51.1% shooting over five appearances in 2020-21. The Frenchman is in the final season of a five-year, $85-million contract.
