In the hours following the blockbuster trade that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis shared his thoughts on the Eastern Conference's revamped powerhouse.

"He got to one of his destinations. He wanted to play there. We'll see how it goes," Davis said following Los Angeles' win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, according to the New York Post's Justin Terranova.

"I mean, you know, (Kevin Durant) and James played together in OKC, and then you add another guy in Kyrie (Irving). They lost some key players - Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert - but they look good on paper."

With Harden, the Nets now feature three All-NBA-caliber talents in their starting lineup, including Durant and Irving. Brooklyn's championship odds skyrocketed to +250 after the deal, which made the team co-favorites to win the title along with Davis' Lakers.

"We'll see how it goes when those guys get in between the lines and get a chance to play alongside each other," Davis added.

When asked about the league-altering move, Davis' costar, LeBron James, kept his opinion on the transaction close to his chest.

"Don't really have too much of a reaction (to the deal)," the 2020 Finals MVP said Wednesday.

The defending-champion Lakers improved their record to an NBA-best 10-3 following Wednesday's victory over the Thunder. Meanwhile, the Nets - who have been without Irving for the last five games due to personal reasons - currently own a 7-6 mark.
