Detroit Pistons rookie Killian Hayes won't return to Monday's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a right hip injury, the team announced, according to The Athletic's James Edwards III.

The first-year guard was injured early in the third quarter while attempting to intercept a pass.

Hayes appeared to be in a lot of discomfort and stayed on the court for several moments. He exited the game with seven points in 13 minutes of play.

Detroit drafted Hayes with the seventh overall pick in last year's draft. He's started in each of the Pistons' six games this season.
