Malik Beasley has agreed to a four-year, $60-million contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, his agent told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Beasley, who was a restricted free agent, excelled in a larger role after the T-Wolves acquired him in a trade with the Denver Nuggets in February, averaging 20.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 14 starts.

Whether Beasley remains in the starting lineup going forward is unclear. He's expected to compete for minutes with No. 1 pick Anthony Edwards and Josh Okogie. Ricky Rubio could also be in the mix to start after returning to Minnesota as part of a three-team deal with Oklahoma City.
