Fox's contract can reach the full supermax value if he makes the All-NBA first team, according to Marks. The Kentucky product will earn a total of $183 million if he's selected to an All-NBA second team, and $170 million for a third-team selection.

The 22-year-old averaged a career-high 21.1 points on 48% shooting along with 6.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game this past season. Fox has emerged as one of the league's top young guards since the Kings selected him fifth overall in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Fox and backcourt mate Buddy Hield are now under contract through the 2023-24 season.
