The Milwaukee Bucks no longer plan to pursue impending restricted free agent Bogdan Bogdanovic, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Earlier in the week, the Bucks reportedly had reached an agreement to acquire the sharpshooter from the Sacramento Kings in a sign-and-trade. Bogdanovic and Justin James would have apparently gone to Milwaukee, while the Kings would have received Donte DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova, and DJ Wilson.

However, the proposed trade reportedly dissolved Wednesday because Bogdanovic had apparently never agreed to join the Bucks.

In the aftermath, Milwaukee elected to waive Ilyasova, removing the possibility that his outgoing salary could be used to match part of Bogdanovic's incoming deal.

Bogdanovic will now meet with other teams as a restricted free agent, with the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers interested in the 28-year-old, according to Sam Amick and Eric Nehm of The Athletic.

Meanwhile, the NBA is reportedly investigating the Kings and Bucks for impropriety, as the free-agency window doesn't begin until 6 p.m. ET on Friday.
