Spencer Dinwiddie is on the radar for some of the Western Conference's heavyweights.

Multiple contenders in the West have internally shown interest in trading for the Brooklyn Nets guard, sources told SNY's Ian Begley.

Dinwiddie addressed the report almost immediately on Twitter, calling for the identities of the supposedly interested clubs.

The 27-year-old led the Nets last season in assists with 6.8 per game and ranked second on the team behind Kyrie Irving in both scoring (20.6 points) and minutes per contest (31.2). He started last season as Brooklyn's first option off the bench but moved into the starting lineup permanently in November 2019 following Irving's shoulder injury.

Dinwiddie's contract contains a $12.3-million player option for 2021-22. However, he's expected to opt out in the 2021 offseason in order to pursue a much larger free-agent contract.

Trades are still on hold as the league and players continue to negotiate details surrounding the 2020-21 season. Last week, the union voted to approve a 72-game campaign with a Dec. 22 start date. The NBA is expected to lift its moratorium on trades shortly after both sides reach a formal agreement.
