Undrafted Marquette star Markus Howard has agreed to a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Howard ended his four-year run with the Golden Eagles in dramatic fashion, leading the nation in scoring while averaging 27.8 points per game.

The 21-year-old did most of his damage from behind the arc and at the charity stripe, connecting on a career-best 41.2% of his 10.1 long-range attempts per game, while also averaging 8.6 free-throw attempts per contest. Howard's offensive brilliance helped him earn consensus first-team All-American honors in 2020.
