Zion won't play vs. Wizards

New Orleans Pelicans rookie star Zion Williamson will rest for Friday's game against the Washington Wizards, the team announced.

Williamson is sitting out the second night of New Orleans' back-to-back set.

The Pelicans have struggled in the season restart, going 1-3 through four seeding games. Williamson only cracked the 20-minute plateau in two of those contests.

The team currently sits 13th in the Western Conference and trails the 8-seed Memphis Grizzlies by 2 1/2 games.
