Former NBA player and head coach Brian Shaw agreed to become the coach of the new G League elite pro team in Los Angeles, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The select team is headlined by former top college recruits Jalen Green and Isaiah Todd.
Multiple reports in April linked former NBA coach Sam Mitchell to the job. Shaw was an assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2016-19 and last ran a bench as head coach of the Denver Nuggets in 2015.
