LeBron staying 'mentally and physically prepared' during NBA shutdown
While the status of the 2019-20 NBA season remains up in the air, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is doing his best to ensure he's ready for any scenario.
"I'm still getting in my daily workouts - I never go a day without," James told People's Lindsay Kimble. "Staying in touch with my teammates and the coaching staff, just doing everything we can to stay mentally and physically prepared for whatever may come next."
James has also been spending more time with his family - wife Savannah, sons Bronny and Bryce, and daughter Zhuri - during the league's shutdown.
"This much family time for us is rare, so really just taking in this opportunity to be together every single day," James said, adding, "Movies and entertainment are a big part of my family and what we enjoy doing together."
NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in an interview with TNT's Ernie Johnson on Monday that he doesn't expect a decision on the season to come until at least May.
