Hornets' Monk suspended until compliant with anti-drug program

The NBA announced Wednesday that it has suspended Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk until it's determined that he's in full compliance with the league's anti-drug program.
Monk is recording career bests in points (10.3), rebounds (2.9), and assists (2.1) per game in 2019-20, his third season since being selected 11th overall out of Kentucky in 2017.
"We are disappointed in Malik’s decision-making that resulted in his suspension. As an organization, we do not condone his behavior," the Hornets said in a statement. "However, we are committed to supporting Malik during this time."
