An MRI on Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard confirmed a groin strain that will require a recovery period of one-to-two weeks, Yahoo's Chris Haynes reports.
The upside for Lillard is that the Blazers don't play again until Feb. 21, so it's possible he may not miss any games. The four-time All-NBA selection already pulled out of this weekend's All-Star festivities due to the injury.
Lillard is having a career year in his eighth NBA season, averaging 29.5 points, and 7.9 assists while shooting nearly 40% from 3-point range in 54 games.
