Lakers bench boss Frank Vogel will coach Team LeBron in the 2020 All-Star Game after Los Angeles clinched at least a tie of the top record in the Western Conference entering the All-Star break.

James' 10th triple-double of the season led the Lakers to a 128-113 win over the Brooklyn Nets, improving L.A.'s record to a conference-best 36-9 through 45 games.

The Utah Jazz, who currently occupy the West's second seed with a 31-13 record, trail the Lakers by 4 1/2 games. Utah could, at best, tie Los Angeles in the standings heading into the break. However, the Lakers own a tiebreaker over the Jazz by virtue of their 2-0 head-to-head record versus Utah this season, clinching Vogel's coaching nod, per the NBA's release.

This marks Vogel's second coaching appearance in the All-Star Game. He served as the bench boss of the Eastern Conference's squad in 2014 while head coach of the Indiana Pacers.

Milwaukee Bucks bench boss Mike Budenholzer is ineligible to coach in the All-Star Game this year since he did so last season, meaning the coaching staff of Team Giannis has yet to be determined.
