Wednesday's NBA schedule features nine games, highlighted by the Denver Nuggets' clash with the Dallas Mavericks and a strong spot for the Milwaukee Bucks. Here are the top betting trends for the night's action:

San Antonio Spurs at Boston Celtics (-6.5, 220.5)

It's hard to find a trend more fun to bet than San Antonio after a win, as the Spurs are an NBA-worst 2-12 against the spread in that spot. The Celtics are 6-2 ATS after a loss, which is tied for the third-best mark in the league. Boston enters this contest coming off a defeat Monday to the Washington Wizards.

Trend play: Celtics -6.5

Toronto Raptors (-2.5, 207) at Charlotte Hornets

The Raptors are a profitable 4-2 ATS as road chalk this year, but they're also 5-1 to the under in that spot, while the Hornets are 10-6 to the under as home underdogs. The low total signals under, too: totals of 207 or below are 13-6 to the under this season.

Trend play: Under 207

Denver Nuggets at Dallas Mavericks (-3, 221.5)

Things have not gone well for the Mavericks at home, where they've lost six of their last seven against the number, including five as favorites. This is a dangerous spot, too, as home favorites of three points or fewer are 21-44 ATS (32.3%) this season.

The Nuggets haven't been much better on the road, though their last six away games have all gone over, as have 11 of their last 13 games overall. Dallas is also riding a three-game over streak at home.

Trend play: Nuggets +3, over 221.5

Chicago Bulls at New Orleans Pelicans (-4, 223.5)

If you haven't been paying attention to the Pelicans, it's time to start doing so. New Orleans has ripped off seven straight ATS wins with six outright wins in its last nine games. The Bulls have managed a 7-1 ATS run on the road and are 8-2 ATS as road 'dogs this season, but they've suffered four ATS losses in their last five games and are battling key injuries in their frontcourt.

Trend play: Pelicans -4

Milwaukee Bucks (-13.5, 218.5) at Golden State Warriors

The massive line may scare you off, but this is a prime spot for the Bucks, who are a league-best 8-1 ATS against teams below .400 since December and are 11-3 ATS as double-digit road favorites since 2018. Teams giving at least 13.5 points on the road are 9-3 ATS since 2016, which bodes well for the biggest road favorite of 2019-20.

Trend play: Bucks -13.5
