It appears the NBA's biggest sneaker free agent is taking his name off the market.

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is nearing a lucrative multi-year endorsement deal with Jordan Brand, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Tim Cato.

Doncic had been without an apparel deal for nearly three months after his previous Nike contract signed during the 20-year-old's final season playing overseas for Real Madrid reportedly expired in late September.

The Slovenian is set to become the latest marquee player to join Jordan Brand. The footwear and apparel powerhouse signed 2019 No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson this past summer.

Financial terms of Doncic's reported deal weren't disclosed, but it's expected to span five years, according to ESPN's Nick DePaula and Tim MacMahon. Williamson's deal with the brand is reportedly worth $75 million over seven years.

Puma and Under Armour were both apparently interested in reaching a deal with the sophomore guard, DePaula and MacMahon add.

Doncic is exceeding even the loftiest expectations in his second NBA season, averaging 29.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.9 assists for the 19-9 Mavericks. He's currently sidelined with a moderate right ankle sprain.
