Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is set to return for Wednesday's matchup with the Boston Celtics, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Ohm Youngmisuk.

Leonard missed his team's last three games due to a left knee contusion.

Since Paul George sat out the Clippers' first 11 contests this season while recovering from shoulder surgery, Wednesday will be the first opportunity for the new franchise cornerstones to play together.

The 28-year-old Leonard is averaging 26.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, six assists, and 2.1 steals through nine appearances this season. In three games with Leonard on the shelf, George posted averages of 29.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in just 24.5 minutes per contest.

The Clippers have gone 9-3 when either star wing has appeared this season. They're 9-5 overall and sit fourth in the Western Conference.
