An upcoming documentary will give fans an in-depth look at Dwyane Wade's final season in the NBA.

ESPN announced it will air a documentary in 2020 that chronicles the former Heat star's life on and off the court in his final season as he reflects on "the personal and professional challenges, victories and setbacks throughout his unwavering journey," according to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

"The documentary was shot over the last 10 years with Wade, his family, and many others, and the filmmakers utilized hundreds of hours of never-before-seen home movies, video diaries, and all-access verite footage," ESPN said in a news release.

The documentary will be directed by Wade's longtime cinematographer, Bob Metelus of Metelus Studios.
