The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a two-year, $20-million deal with forward Marcus Morris, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The second year of the deal includes a player option.

Morris adds legitimate depth to the Spurs' forward rotation and could become the team's starting power forward if LaMarcus Aldridge slides to the center position.

San Antonio also gains added floor spacing - Morris shot 37.5 percent on 5.2 3-pointers per game last season - and an offensive option that can score 20-plus points on any given night.

The 29-year-old averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 rebounds for the Boston Celtics in 2018-19.
