Michael Porter Jr.'s long-awaited return to action appears to have been delayed further.
The Denver Nuggets' rookie forward is unlikely to play at the Las Vegas Summer League this year after sustaining a left knee sprain Wednesday evening, a league source told the Denver Post's Mike Singer.
Porter, selected No. 14 overall in 2018, missed the entirety of what would have been his rookie season due to a back injury.
Nuggets fans can breathe a sigh of relief, however; Porter's latest setback is reportedly a minor one and not expected to keep the 6-foot-10 Missouri product out for a significant period of time.
