Former NBA All-Star Stephon Marbury announced on Monday that he's been named head coach of the Beijing Royal Fighters, a Chinese Basketball Association team.
The 42-year-old played for the Beijing Ducks and two other CBA teams after moving to China following the end of his NBA career in 2009. He then played for the Royal Fighters - then known as the Fly Dragons - before retiring as a player last year.
The Royal Fighters' roster includes former NCAA player Shavlik Randolph, and former NBA point guard Pierre Jackson.
