Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors majority owner Joe Lacob, has become the target of Beyonce fans after her interaction with the singer and rapper Jay-Z went viral during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Curran was seated to the left of the couple, and at one point leaned over Beyonce to talk to Jay-Z. Beyonce's reaction led some to speculate that she was annoyed with Curran.

Curran told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne she's received death threats since the incident went viral and had to disable her Instagram account after being flooded with comments from Beyonce's fan base. She also explained that she's invited the couple to Warriors games three-to-four times before and was leaning over to ask for Jay-Z's drink order because it was loud inside Oracle Arena.

"There was no hostility. I was trying to be a good hostess," Curran told Shelburne. "I've never experienced cyber bullying like this. I can't believe our players go through this. That kids go through this."
