Curry: Warriors will use experience and try to flip 'series on its head'

The Golden State Warriors dropped Game 4 of the NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors and now face a 3-1 series deficit.

But after overcoming the same scenario and blowing a 3-1 lead themselves in recent years, the Warriors know the series is far from over.

"It's not a good feeling right now, obviously, but like you said, we've been on both sides of it," Curry told reporters postgame, including Ben Golliver of The Washington Post. "And for us, it's an opportunity to just flip this whole series on its head, and you got to do it one game at a time."

"In our locker room, we were talking about believing, everybody out there believes that we can get this done," he added. "We got to - we can draw on those experiences that we had back in the day and see what happens."

Golden State forward Draymond Green expressed a similar sentiment.

"I've been on the wrong side of 3-1 before, so why not make our own history?" Green said.

The Warriors trailed 3-1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2016 Western Conference finals before rallying and winning three straight to reach the NBA Finals, only to have the Cleveland Cavaliers return the favor.

Game 5 takes place on Monday at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
