Three weeks to the day before the NBA draft, Zion Williamson has finally hired an agent. Creative Artists Agency (CAA) announced on Thursday that it's signed the projected top pick.
The Sporting News' Sean Deveney first reported the development Wednesday.
It's unusual for highly touted players to get this far along in the draft process without representation. Williamson not being represented during the draft lottery led to speculation he could return to Duke, which his stepfather later refuted.
CAA's NBA clientele also includes Chris Paul, Joel Embiid, and Paul George.
