It appears LaVar Ball is not ready to let Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball control his own destiny.

The flamboyant father is asking potential agent candidates for Lonzo if they have the ability to unite his three sons - Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo - on an NBA team together, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Lonzo, the eldest Ball brother, announced Thursday that he and agent Harrison Gaines had mutually agreed to part ways.

It was believed that Lonzo, who recently cut ties with Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster as well as Gaines, is aiming to assert control over his own career.

But LaVar has reportedly taken over choosing the next agent for the Lakers' young star and has met with multiple candidates on his son's behalf.

Several agents reached out to see if they could potentially land Lonzo as a client, sources told Haynes, but many withdrew from consideration upon discovering LaVar is still making decisions.
