Tuesday night at American Airlines Arena belonged to Chris Bosh, who became the fourth player in Miami Heat history to have his jersey retired by the organization.

With the current Heat roster, several former teammates, members of the front office, and his wife and children in attendance, Bosh gave a captivating speech after his No. 1 rose to the rafters.

Bosh captured a pair of championships as one-third of the "Heatles" alongside LeBron James - who wasn't in attendance with the Los Angeles Lakers in action - and Dwyane Wade in 2012 and 2013. He announced in February he was no longer pursuing a playing career due to a recurrence of life-threatening blood clots.
